Year in Review: Google
Written on January 29, 2007
2006 was a good year for us. The ride was a bit bumpy - switching from host to host and all, but we have come a long way since we started this site over a year ago.
To celebrate to occasion, let’s take a look back at some of the best Google-related articles featured on the blog in 2006.
Get indexed by Google in a week - This was originally one of our most popular posts. I was sure that no could beat my record in getting a brand new website listed by Google in four days.
Get indexed by Google in 24 hours - I was wrong. I broke my record and managed to get listed on Google in under 24 hours. See how I did it.
Douglas Bowman joins Google - One of my favorite web designers, Douglas Bowman, hopped on the Google team last year and we had the full scoop.
Google testing a new homepage - Google is always trying new things. The new homepage design never actually went into effect, but it was interesting to see a change none the less.
Make money with AdSense - A couple months ago I realized I never did a generic post on making money with AdSense. Here’s the basics that you should know.
Google AdSense vs Text-Link-Ads - This is part one of two in which I explore and compare Google AdSense to Text-Link-Ads.
Highest paying AdSense keywords - This article I wrote last month has received massive traffic from search engines. Find out exactly what keywords will generate the highest pay per clicks!
That’s a wrap. Stay tuned for part two of Year in Review next week!
