Digg unbans tons of websites
Written on February 23, 2007
The social news and bookmarking site Digg.com is one of the most powerful tools to drive traffic to your website. However, many popular websites and blogs have been banned from Digg, usually by the members, for unknown reasons.
Today, it appears that a lot of unjust bans have been lifted. Among the unbanned is one of my favorite bloggers - John Chow. The Digg team hasn’t made a public announcement about the unbannings, and some people are speculating that it was unintentional.
Some major websites that are unbanned
- Online Marketing Blog
- DigitalPoint Forums
- John Chow
- Squidoo by Seth Godin
- Text Link Ads
- SEO News Blog
- Ecademy
- Connected Internet
- Real Estate Webmasters
- Rock My Monkey
- Paul Stamatiou
- Paula Mooney
- Alan Lewis
- v7n Forums
- Luca Filigheddu
- Find in Forums
- Encyclopedia Dramatica
- Oliver Stone
- Kineda
- Dingorue
- The Superficial
- The Blemish
- Journal Space
Thankfully, none of my sites have ever been banned from Digg. Hopefully it stays this way.
